USLI October Together
As a proud partner since 2007, USLI has raised $4.1 million for Breastcancer.org through their October Together campaign. Their creative fundraising efforts include their Flow for a Cause yoga class, Pink Out Your Pet contest, 5K run, online auctions, and more.
Vertex Halloween Party
Longtime supporter of Breastcancer.org since 2005, Vertex has raised over $1.8 million through team-hosted events for their employees, including an annual Halloween costume contest.
Run for the Cure
Launched in 2018 and now an annual community tradition, Run for the Cure is a 5K run and 1.5 mile walk. Started by Radnor High School students in honor of their teacher, Fran Misener, the student organizers hope their efforts “will make a lasting impact on the strong and fearless breast cancer community.”
For the Love of Paddle
In October, more than 200 women gathered for a friendly round-robin tournament to kick off paddle season while raising funds and awareness for people affected by breast cancer. The event was made even more special with a silent auction and inspiring speech to begin the day.
Ta Ta for Now
Friends Mac and Shana hosted their first Ta Ta For Now Breast Cancer Gala in 2017 in honor of their mothers, who, they are proud to share, are in remission. Inspired by their mothers’ resilience and breast cancer journeys, Mac and Shana created an annual event for friends and family, while raising funds for Breastcancer.org. “We chose Breastcancer.org because they provide crucial resources to those living through breast cancer that aren’t easily found elsewhere.”
Remix Fitness
Through in-person and virtual Pink Out classes and merch sales, Remix Fitness brings their community together to support Breastcancer.org, raising funds and awareness for those affected by breast cancer.
Kokopelli Relay Race
Mark and his team created a virtual fundraiser in honor of their participation in the Kokopelli Relay in Utah, a 535-mile race they completed in just 33 hours and 12 minutes. They invited supporters to donate to Breastcancer.org as they took on the challenge.
Wendy’s Birthday Fundraiser
After relying on Breastcancer.org throughout her breast cancer journey, Wendy Borst asked friends and family to donate in lieu of gifts for her 50th birthday. Now she organizes Pink Out Days at Freemansburg and Farmersville Elementary Schools, where staff can donate $5 to wear jeans and pink for the day. "The articles and message boards on Breastcancer.org helped — and continue to help — me not only get valuable information but also make connections with others who were in similar situations."
