The Ta Ta for Now hosts with their mothers

Ta Ta for Now

In 2017, friends Mac Frederick and Shana Steigerwalt began the Ta Ta for Now celebration in honor of their mothers, both breast cancer survivors. Inspired by their mothers' journeys, they chose to partner with Breastcancer.org to provide vital resources to others facing this isolating diagnosis. Since then, Ta Ta for Now has grown into a cherished annual event uniting survivors, families, and supporters.

"We chose Breastcancer.org because they provide crucial resources to those living through breast cancer that aren't easily found elsewhere."

Students and teachers at Run for the Cure

Run for the Cure

What began in 2018 as a high school English project inspired by teacher Fran Misener's courageous journey has evolved into an annual tradition with incredible impact. Started by a group of Radnor High School students, Run for the Cure has grown into a community-wide effort benefiting Breastcancer.org, with 100% of proceeds supporting the mission to provide trusted information and support to those impacted by breast cancer. In 2024, the student organizers expanded their fundraising efforts beyond the run, hosting lacrosse clinics, yoga classes, and restaurant events, all leading up to the main event. Every activity brings the community together to raise awareness and support a meaningful cause.

"We hope that our efforts to fundraise in the name of Breastcancer.org will make a lasting impact on the strong and fearless breast cancer community."
