Marisa C. Weiss, MD
Marisa C. Weiss, MD, is the founder, chief medical officer, and guiding force behind Breastcancer.org. A breast oncologist with more than 35 years of active practice in the Philadelphia region, Dr. Weiss is regarded as a visionary for her innovative and steadfast approach to informing and empowering individuals to protect their breast health and overcome the challenges of breast cancer.
A renowned leader in the field of breast cancer, Dr. Weiss is frequently interviewed as a subject matter expert and respected voice of breast cancer patients. She is the author of four critically acclaimed books on the subjects of breast health and breast cancer. She is often featured in the mainstream and oncology media as an authority on breast cancer and the needs of people with or worried about a diagnosis.
